How to prepare your data, tables, and notes when using the Edanz manuscript writing service
We recommend the following steps to best meet your objectives and ensure a smooth work-flow:
- Decide on the data that you wish to be included - generate the tables and figures that you think should be included in the final manuscript.
- Generate a two to three page summary of the study (which can be in bullet point format), and should include a brief rationale of the study, key citations (including PDF copies of these if possible), key messages/results to be discussed and a final conclusion.
- Supply a draft or outline of the methodology section. Explain methods and techniques used in as much detail as possible, list materials and equipment used and manufacturers. Especially, supply the references from which authors obtained any non-standard methods.
- If you are rewriting from a draft manuscript, or one that is to be reworked for submission to a different journal, then send us the draft and also the peer review comments.
